MODULE 3:

THE HOW

In this module, you will explore:

  • How our brains are hardwired to resist change and examine the possibility of "tricking" our brain.
  • How to honor your emotional well-being and consider self-kindness, humanity, and mindfulness as a way to ground your goals.

  • How to guide your focus and asses your well-being to become Me at My Best.

After this module, you’ll be ready to set a well-being path that will benefit everyone.

MODULE 4: 

THE WHAT

In this module, you will explore:

  • Are we creatures of habit or creatures of culture? 
  • An inside-out and an outside-in approach to well-being.
  • What team cares means and gain a tool for evaluating wellness privilege at work.

After this Module, you’ll understand what impacts wellness engagement across teams, orgs, and even communitites.

HEY, IT'S LAURA & CROCKETT!

Laura Putnam, author of Workplace Wellness That Works, is CEO and founder of Motion Infusion. Her work has been covered by MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Fox News, The New York Times, US News & World Report, Business Insider, and NPR.
She is a former urban public high school teacher, international community organizer, dancer, gymnast and now a movement-builder in the world of health and wellness. Laura is a frequent keynote speaker, has trained over 15,000 managers and leaders, across all industries. Laura is a member of the Google Vitality Lab and is the recipient of the American Heart Association's "2020 Impact" award as well as the National Wellness Institute’s “Circle of Leadership” award. She also served as the Chair of the American Heart Association’s Greater Bay Area 2020 Task Force. A graduate of Brown University and Stanford University, Laura lives in San Francisco with her fiancé and unruly cat.

Crockett Dale started his career as a banker in Chapel Hill, NC. He left banking to assume the role of president of his family business, a prominent hosiery mill in Hickory, NC, which he led for nearly 20 years. Crockett saw the impact that chronic health conditions and barriers to care were having on his workforce and his business. He brought in an onsite clinic to deliver quality, accessible care to his employees. The clinic provider he partnered with had a holistic, prevention-focused approach that was ahead of its time. Seeing his leadership in promoting a new culture of wellness in the factory achieve positive results, Crockett posed the question, “How healthy can a population become?” This led him to purchase a majority stake in the company that provided his clinic services, and Crockett became CEO of Healthstat. Since then, he has been a dynamic innovator and thought leader in the fast-growing onsite clinic industry.
